Root Beer Glazed Ribs

INGREDIENTS

  • Rack of baby back ribs

  • BBQ Rub

  • Olive Oil


Glaze

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1 cup root beer

  • Shot of whiskey


Root Beer Float

  • Root beer

  • Vanilla ice cream

  • Whipped cream

  • Cherry


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Serves 3-5

  1. Cover ribs in oil, season throughly with BBQ rub. Smoke for 2 hours at 225F. Wrap in foil, add some root beer, smoke another 1.5-2 hours.

  2. Glaze: Combine BBQ sauce, root beer, whiskey, and season with BBQ rub. Simmer until BBQ sauce consistency.

  3. Unwrap ribs, cover in glaze. Smoke for another 30 min-1 hour.

  4. Make the Root Beer Float: Place a large scoop of vanilla ice cream to a glass and pour in your root beer. Add the whipped cream and top with a cherry.

  5. Take ribs off of the smoker and pair with the root beer float. Serve and enjoy!
