Cinnamon Roll Wellington

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack of Cinnamon Rolls (make sure it comes with frosting!)

  • 1-2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal

  • 1 puff pastry sheet

  • 1 egg yolk for the egg wash

  • Candied Bacon

  • Couple tablespoons of flour for rolling out puff pastry


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Serves 4-8

  1. Make your candied bacon. Set aside as you make the rest of the wellington.

  2. Roll out your puff pastry and cut out a ~12 inch x ~5 inch rectangle. Place the cinnamon buns on the puff pastry ~1/2 to 1 inch apart from each other leaving space for them to grow (see picture above).

  3. Chop up your candied bacon and place it on the other half of the puff pastry with your cinnamon toast crunch (save some of each for the top!).

  4. Roll it all up and seal with egg wash. Brush egg wash on the top and place in the oven at 350F until golden brown top.

  5. Assemble: Drizzle some of the cinnamon roll frosting and top with candied bacon, crumbled cinnamon toast crunch and another layer of the frosting!

  6. Enjoy!
