Salmon Candy

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5lbs of salmon

  • 2-3T sesame seeds


Marinade

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/8 cup mirin

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (Keto version use monk fruit sugar)

  • 2-3T fresh grated ginger

  • 1T Killer Hogs: The BBQ Rub


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Serves 3-4

  1. Cut salmon into 1/4 - 1/8 inch slices.

  2. Make the Marinade: mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar (Keto version use monk fruit sugar 1:1 ratio), fresh grated ginger, Killer Hogs: The BBQ Rub. Mix well.

  3. Add salmon to the marinade and marinate 2 hours.

  4. Place on trays and top with more BBQ rub and sesame seeds.

  5. Bake at the lowest temp your oven will go (At 170F degrees it took about 5 hours).

  6. End result is jerky style candied salmon for a fun protein snack!
